Baithak School and HHRD Unite for Community Health Empowerment Initiative

Baithak School Badia Rismet Islamabad collaborated with Helping Hand for Relief Development (HHRD) in a groundbreaking healthcare venture. This partnership organised a medical camp, screening 421 students—180 boys and 241 girls. Vital healthcare services like dietary counselling and medications, including antibiotics and multivitamins, were dispensed. Notably, the camp addressed various health concerns: malnutrition (50–60%), diarrhoea and cholera (20–30%), and other ailments (10%).

Simultaneously, a diabetes awareness camp held at the Islamabad Health Clinic served parents and local residents. Out of 73 attendees, 22 men and 51 women were identified as having diabetes. Essential medications such as antidiabetic drugs, multivitamins, and crucial treatments were provided. An astounding 85–90% of the participants were diagnosed with diabetes. The community widely praised the collaborative efforts of Baithak School and HHRD, expressing deep satisfaction with the quality of services delivered.
