May, 2026 — KARACHI: Baithak School Network successfully conducted a free eye screening camp at its Sikandarabad Campus in collaboration with Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), under the supervision of POB Eye Hospital Karachi.
The medical initiative aimed to promote early detection and timely treatment of vision-related concerns among children studying at the campus. During the camp, a total of 207 students underwent detailed eye screenings to assess their vision and overall eye health.
According to the screening results, 40 students were prescribed glasses due to weak eyesight, while 10 students received treatment for eye allergies. In addition, 7 students were referred to the clinic for further medical evaluation after suspected eye infections were identified during the examination process.
Medical professionals and volunteers conducted the screenings with care and provided guidance to students regarding eye health, hygiene, and the importance of regular checkups. The initiative was well received by students, teachers, and parents alike.
Representatives of Baithak School Network appreciated the support of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association and POB Eye Hospital Karachi for contributing toward the health and well-being of children from underserved communities.
