Dr. Moqeet Hayat: A Beacon of Hope, Pride of Baithak

In the heart of Shahdara, Lahore—where the hum of daily life echoed through narrow streets and the sight of schools was scarce—the Baithak School Network emerged as a guiding light for children yearning for education. Among those who found their path within its walls was Moqeet Hayat, alongside his siblings Sameet Hayat and Ghulam Fatima.

Their father, an electrician working in a private industry, harbored a simple yet profound dream: to see his children educated and empowered. But with no schools in their vicinity, options were limited—until Baithak School Hameed Park Campus became their gateway to knowledge. What started as a necessity soon turned into an extraordinary journey of academic brilliance.

Against all odds, the Hayat siblings excelled:

Dr. Moqeet Hayat pursued his MBBS from Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Medical & Dental College (SKZMDC), Lahore, and now serves as a doctor at Sheikh Zayed Hospital.

Dr. Sameet Hayat followed a similar path, earning his medical degree from King Edward Medical University (KEMU) and currently working at Mayo Hospital.

Ghulam Fatima took a different yet equally impactful route, completing her MA in Urdu and B.Ed from Punjab University. Today, she serves as an SSE in the education department, shaping young minds just as Baithak once shaped hers.

Looking back, Moqeet reflects on his journey with gratitude:
“Baithak is a beacon of hope in communities where education is just a dream. Our teachers built the foundation that made our success possible. Everything we have achieved stems from their dedication.”

With the support of scholarships and unwavering determination, the siblings reached heights they once thought impossible. Today, they stand as professionals not just excelling in their fields but also carrying forward the mission of uplifting others.

Moqeet passionately advocates for expanding educational opportunities:

“Many children still lack access to schools. We need more Baithak institutions to bridge this gap and change lives.”

The Baithak School Network takes immense pride in celebrating the Hayat family’s achievements. Their story is a testament to the transformative power of education—a single spark that can light up entire communities, paving the way for a brighter, more hopeful tomorrow.
