A Journey of Hope: From Baithak to the White Coat

In the dusty lanes of Khuzdar, where opportunities are as rare as rain, a little boy once sat on a worn-out mat inside a modest classroom, clutching a secondhand book with wide, curious eyes. That boy was Abdul Hafeez Zehri.

I still remember the first time I held a pencil,” Abdul Hafeez recalls with a smile. “It was at Baithak School Network, Khuzdar. That tiny classroom became my whole world—it’s where I first learned to read, to write, and to dream.”

Baithak wasn’t just a school; it was a lifeline for Hafeez and many children like him. He studied there until Grade 5, and though the walls were simple, the lessons they held were powerful. With every new word he learned, He carved a path out of the limitations around him.

After completing his time at Baithak, Hafeez didn’t stop. He climbed higher, step by step—securing admission into the Balochistan Residential College in Khuzdar, a place that further nurtured his passion and discipline. With long nights of study and days filled with determination, Hafeez aimed for something many believed was out of reach.

And in 2021, he did the impossible.

Hafeez secured a seat in Bolan Medical College, Quetta—one of the most prestigious medical institutions in the province. Today, he stands tall as a third-year MBBS student, walking hospital corridors with the same curiosity he once held in that small Baithak classroom.

"I owe my beginnings to Baithak. That school didn’t just teach me the alphabet—it gave me the courage to write my own story."

Abdul Hafeez’s journey is not just a tale of personal triumph. It is a powerful reminder that even the smallest spark of education, when lit with hope and hard work, can illuminate a path toward greatness.

And somewhere in Khuzdar, another little child sits on a mat, holding a book… dreaming.

Abdul Hafeez dreams of becoming a doctor so he can serve his country and his people.
