Kala Bagh, Mianwali – Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, a distinguished civil engineering expert with an academic background that spans continents, visited Baithak School Kalabagh Campus at the start of the new academic session in April 2025, making another significant contribution to the institution he has supported for over five years.
Dr. Iqbal, a Ph.D. graduate in Civil Engineering from Washington University, USA, and an MSc from Turkey, also holds an LLB degree, reflecting his unyielding commitment to learning and personal growth. He resides in Chicago, USA, but his roots trace back to Kala Bagh, Mianwali, where his heart remains dedicated to the upliftment of the community.
Dr. Iqbal’s connection with Baithak School began during the COVID-19 pandemic when the need for support in the education sector became even more apparent. During this challenging time, Dr. Iqbal stepped forward to help, not only by paying the rent for the school building but also by providing a solar system for the campus to ensure uninterrupted learning. His vision has always been clear – to provide opportunities and resources for the students to thrive despite any adversity.
In December 2024, Dr. Iqbal made another generous contribution, donating 7 laptops and 6 sewing machines, along with tables and chairs, for the vocational center. These donations were crucial in equipping the students with the necessary tools to enhance their technical skills and improve their vocational prospects.
Then, in April 2025, as the new session began, Dr. Iqbal continued his incredible support for the school. He visited the Kalabagh Campus and distributed books and uniforms to the students, ensuring they had the essential resources to start the school year with confidence. Additionally, he donated 7 laptops and 4 sewing machines, along with 80 chairs for the classrooms, providing students with the tools to succeed in both their academic and vocational endeavors.
