Health Awareness for Stronger Communities at Baithak School Qaid-e-Azam Colony

Karachi, Pakistan – In a dedicated effort to build healthier and safer communities, Baithak School Qaid-e-Azam Colony hosted a comprehensive Health Awareness Session, conducted by final-year medical students from Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi, in collaboration with Join to Serve.

The program was divided into two main segments:

Mothers’ Health & Well-being

Mothers from the local community were given awareness sessions on women’s health with a special focus on breast cancer awareness. The discussions highlighted preventive care, self-check practices, and the importance of early detection to ensure healthier families and stronger communities.

Student Safety & Hygiene Training

Students actively participated in interactive sessions covering:

  • Road Safety: Learning traffic rules and pedestrian safety.

  • Fire Safety: Understanding emergency measures and precautionary steps.

  • Hand Hygiene: Promoting healthy practices to prevent infectious diseases.

Through these activities, students gained essential knowledge to safeguard themselves and contribute to community well-being.

Building Safer Futures

The session reinforced Baithak School Network’s mission of not only providing quality education but also preparing underprivileged communities with life skills, preventive health awareness, and safety practices. Small steps of awareness taken today are paving the way toward a safer, healthier, and informed future.
