Baithak School Hosts Successful Medical Camp in Collaboration with Liaquat National Medical College and Helping Hands Committee
Karachi, Oct — Baithak School Network, in partnership with medical students from Liaquat National Medical College and the Helping Hands Committee, recently organized a highly successful medical camp at both the Pehlwan Goath Campus and the Shanti Nager Campus. The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services and raise health awareness among students, teachers, and staff.
The camp served a total of 223 students, with 113 students checked at the Shanti Nager Campus and 110 at the Pehlwan Goath Campus. The medical team identified 21 students with various health concerns, all of whom were referred to Liaquat National Hospital for further care, coordinated by the co-chairperson, Iqra Fazal, and her dedicated team.
The event included informative sessions covering critical health topics such as the importance of hydration, hand hygiene, and first aid. These sessions were designed to educate participants on maintaining good health and preventing common illnesses. Following the awareness sessions, interactive demo stations were set up, allowing students to engage in hands-on activities related to healthcare practices.
In addition to the informational components, students underwent general physical examinations to monitor their health status and ensure that any issues were promptly addressed. To conclude the day, all participants received goodie bags filled with health-related essentials.
This medical camp is part of Baithak School’s ongoing efforts to promote better health and well-being within the school community. The collaboration with Liaquat National Medical College’s medical students and the Helping Hands Committee not only provided valuable practical experience for future doctors but also delivered much-needed healthcare services to the students.
Baithak School Network expresses heartfelt gratitude to the medical students and all partners involved for their dedication in making this initiative a resounding success. Together, we are fostering a healthier, more informed generation.
