PIMA Conducts Free Eye Screening Camp for Students at Baithak School Gajomata Lahore

Lahore, Pakistan: Baithak School Gajomata Campus recently hosted a free eye screening camp organized by the Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), reinforcing the importance of student health in academic success.

A total of 77 students underwent comprehensive vision screening during the camp. The medical team carefully assessed each child’s eyesight to identify potential visual impairments that could hinder learning and classroom participation.

Following the screenings, 11 students were referred for further evaluation and corrective support. With the generous support of the PIMA POB Project, these students will receive eyeglasses to help them overcome visual barriers and continue their education with clarity and confidence.

Vision plays a crucial role in a child’s academic development. Undetected eyesight issues often lead to difficulty in reading, writing, and concentrating in class. By addressing these concerns early, the initiative ensures that students can fully engage in their learning journey.

Baithak School Network deeply appreciates PIMA and the POB Project team for their commitment to child health and educational empowerment. Such collaborations reflect Baithak’s holistic approach — understanding that good health and quality education go hand in hand.

Because when children can see clearly, they can dream bigger and achieve more.
